Working with chaos

With InterAction my persona and perspective towards life and people has changed dramatically. Let me just share with you one of my numerous stories.

I am dental surgeon at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and also a youth activist and the head of the Couple's Fellowship in the church among other things.

With InterAction my persona and perspective towards life and people has changed dramatically. For instance: I walk into a departmental meeting in the hospital on Thursday morning at 08:00 and the whole place is fired-up with one complaint after the other and disagreements everywhere. I find a seat in the corner at the back and observe silently for a while, and then I start smiling. What comes to mind: "Working with chaos and order to allow great things to emerge".

Why ae you smiling?

The facilitator notices me and asks "how come you are smiling" Then I tell him it's because this discussion is very interesting and I can already see people providing solutions so I am happy. He was shocked. So I told them if they could have patience to listen to everybody's suggestions rather than cutting them short and at same time hold our own assumptions lightly we would start seeing the solutions and be able to work towards congruence.

I'm glad to say the whole atmosphere changed and we were able to have a fruitful dialogue. Although we did not find answer to all the problems, we allowed great ideas to emerge.

At the end of the meeting my boss calls me and asks "is this also InterAction"?

I am so proud to have been at InterAction.
