There have been 126 armed conflicts since the end of the Cold War - and over 7 million people have died - most of them - civilians.  Building peace does not happen automatically when a peace agreement is signed.  It is only the first of many, many steps.

InterAction is committed to helping bring about peace in the many countries that have been ravaged by war and armed conflict.  This section is dedicated to Peacebuilding, to learning about how conflicts can be solved, who the role players are, where they are working and what is being done internationally to bring an end to violence.
