Grass Roots Football to tackle AIDS
The One to One Children's Fund are working on an exciting new initiative to tackle aids through grass roots football. One to One run the Paediatric AIDS Treatment for Africa (PATA) network www.teampata.org that works with HIV clinics to enhance quality of life and provide comprehensive support for HIV/AIDS children and their families. By collaborating with, and setting up new grass roots football projects near to PATA clinics, they plan to draw young people in to get tested and treated for HIV. This is a new project and an exciting opportunity for anyone who is interested in football and treating HIV to get involved and make a real difference.
